THIELE -- read once and referred to the Committee on Real Property Taxation AN ACT to amend the real property tax law, in relation to authorizing firefighters and ambulance workers who reside in one town but volun- teer their services in another town to take advantage of certain real property tax exemptions THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: 1 Section 1. Paragraph (a) of subdivision 2 of section 466-c of the real 2 property tax law, as amended by chapter 9 of the laws of 2004, is 3 amended to read as follows: 4 (a) the applicant resides in [the] A town WITHIN THE COUNTY which is 5 served by such incorporated volunteer fire company or fire department or 6 incorporated voluntary ambulance service; 7 S 2.
