O'DONNELL -- read once and referred to the Committee on Cities AN ACT to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to prohibiting the use of fuel oil grades no. 4 and 6 for the heating of any residential building THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: 1 Section 1. The administrative code of the city of New York is amended 2 by adding a new section 24-177.1 to read as follows: 3 S 24-177.1 RESIDENTIAL FUEL RESTRICTIONS. RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS ARE 4 PROHIBITED FROM USING FUEL OIL GRADES NO. 4 AND 6, AS CLASSIFIED BY THE 5 AMERICAN SOCIETY FOR TESTING AND MATERIALS, FOR THE HEATING OF ANY RESI- 6 DENTIAL BUILDING. 7 S 2. This act shall take effect on the three hundred sixty-fifth day 8 after it shall have become a law.
