       AN ACT to authorize the town of Islip to transfer ownership  of  certain
         lands to the village of Islandia
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Subject to the provisions of this act, the town of Islip is
    2  hereby authorized and empowered to  convey  the  property  described  in
    3  section  two  of this act, upon terms to be fixed and determined by such
    4  town and approved by its legislature, to the village of Islandia.
    5    S 2.  The lands referred to in section one of this  act  are  located,
    6  bounded and described as follows:
    7    All that certain plot, piece or parcel of land situate lying and being
    8  at  the  village of Islandia, Town of Islip, County of Suffolk and State
    9  of New York, being bounded and described as follows:
   10    Beginning at a point on the easterly line of Nichols Road (Old Nichols
   11  Road), said point being  distant  the  following  two  (2)  courses  and
   12  distances  southerly  from the intersection between the easterly side of
   13  Nichols Road (Old Nichols Road) and the southerly side of South Connect-
   14  ing Road. Along the widened line of  Nichols  Road  (Old  Nichols  Road)
   15  proceed:
   16    1. South 40 Degrees 40 Minutes 00 Seconds West 141.54 feet;
   17    2.  North  56  Degrees  36  Minutes  00 Seconds West 10.29 feet to the
   18  existing line of Nichols Road (Old Nichols Road) and the point of begin-
   19  ning (POB).
   20    From said point of beginning proceed along  the  following  seven  (7)
   21  courses and distances:
   22    1. South 56 Degrees 36 Minutes 00 Seconds East 200.07 feet;
   23    2. North 41 Degrees 30 Minutes 35 Seconds East 151.90 feet;
   24    3. South 56 Degrees 36 Minutes 00 Seconds East 448.00 feet;
   25    4. South 43 Degrees 45 Minutes 00 Seconds West 223.57 feet;
        EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets
                             [ ] is old law to be omitted.

    1    5. South 44 Degrees 54 Minutes 52 Seconds West 336.35 feet;
    2    6. North 50 Degrees 47 Minutes 54 Seconds West 608.36 feet;
    3    7.  North  40  Degrees  40  Minutes 00 Seconds East 340.37 feet to the
    4  point of beginning and containing within said bounds 298,786 square feet
    5  or 6.86 acres more or less.
    6    S 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
