        AN ACT to amend chapter 670 of the laws of 2007 amending  the  education
          law  relating to directing the commissioner of education to promulgate
          regulations limiting the engines of school vehicles to  remain  idling
          while  parked or standing on school grounds, in relation to the effec-
          tiveness thereof
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section  1.  Section 2 of chapter 670 of the laws of 2007 amending the
     2  education law relating to directing the  commissioner  of  education  to
     3  promulgate regulations limiting the engines of school vehicles to remain
     4  idling while parked or standing on school grounds, as amended by chapter
     5  74 of the laws of 2013, is amended to read as follows:
     6    §  2.  This  act  shall  take  effect  immediately and shall be deemed
     7  repealed June 30, [2019] 2024.
     8    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
