          reprinted as amended and recommitted to said committee

        AN ACT to amend chapter 579 of the laws of 2004, amending  the  tax  law
          relating  to  authorizing  the  county  of  Genesee to impose a county
          recording tax on obligation secured by a mortgage on real property, in
          relation to the effectiveness thereof

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section  1. Section 2 of chapter 579 of the laws of 2004, amending the
     2  tax law relating to authorizing the county of Genesee to impose a county
     3  recording tax on obligation secured by a mortgage on real  property,  as
     4  amended by section 1 of item F of subpart E of part XXX of chapter 58 of
     5  the laws of 2020, is amended to read as follows:
     6    §  2.  This  act shall take effect on the thirtieth day after it shall
     7  have become a law; and shall expire on November  1,  [2023]  2025,  when
     8  upon such date the provisions of this act shall be deemed repealed.
     9    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
