        Introduced by M. of A. MONTESANO, LALOR -- read once and referred to the
          Committee on Economic Development

        AN  ACT to amend the economic development law, in relation to developing
          an online tracking system for loans and grants

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section  1.  Subdivision 48 of section 100 of the economic development
     2  law is renumbered subdivision 49 and a new subdivision 48  is  added  to
     3  read as follows:
     4    48.  to  develop  and  implement, in conjunction with the empire state
     5  development corporation and the urban development corporation, an online
     6  tracking system for loans and grants administered through  each  respec-
     7  tive  entity. An email notification system through which individuals and
     8  companies can sign up for  electronic  notification  of  grants,  loans,
     9  policy  changes and other general information shall also be made readily
    10  available to the public.
    11    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
