RABBITT -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Governmental Employees AN ACT to authorize the village of Goshen in Orange county to appoint Michael Wilson to a full-time competitive police officer position THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: 1 Section 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section 58 of the civil 2 service law, the village of Goshen in Orange county is hereby authorized 3 and directed, upon the approval of the village board of trustees, to 4 appoint Michael Wilson, who is currently a part-time police officer for 5 the village of Goshen police department, to a full-time competitive 6 position as a police officer with the police department of such village. 7 S 2.
