Subdivision 9 of section 201 of the correction law is 2 amended by adding a new paragraph (e) to read as follows: 3 (E) NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER LAW, RULE OR REGULATION TO THE CONTRARY, 4 THE SUPERVISION FEE AUTHORIZED BY THIS SUBDIVISION SHALL NOT BE 5 COLLECTED BY THE PAROLE OFFICER OF A PERSON ON COMMUNITY SUPERVISION. 6 THE DEPARTMENT SHALL DESIGNATE A CENTRAL LOCATION AND ADDRESS FOR 7 PAYMENT OF SUCH SUPERVISION FEE BY PERSONS ON COMMUNITY SUPERVISION. 8 S 2. This act shall take effect immediately, provided, however, that 9 the amendments to subdivision 9 of section 201 of the correction law 10 made by section one of this act shall not affect the repeal of such 11 subdivision and shall be deemed repealed therewith.
