Summary

This legislation requires mandatory treatment and mandatory supervision contacts for all sex offenders released from prison and subject to supervision by the Division of Parole and mandatory electronic monitoring by the Division for Level III sex offenders whose victim was under the age of sixteen. For sex offenders sentenced to probation, this bill requires mandatory sex offender treatment, mandatory supervision contacts and mandatory electronic monitoring for certain offenders. Finally, this bill requires the Division of Probation and Correctional Alternatives to establish uniform statewide standards for the treatment of sex offenders sentenced to probation.
