Summary

To require commercial vehicles over 18,000 lbs. (i.e.; tractor trailers) or those carrying hazardous cargo (i.e.; gas, oil, toxic waste) or passengers such as school buses to install an ignition interlock device to prevent an intoxicated driver from operating the vehicle.
