Summary

This bill seeks to control the burgeoning costs of personal injury suits against public entities by barring recovery against a public entity by a plaintiff whose culpability is fifty percent or more of the culpable conduct that caused the damages; and limiting the amount payable by a public entity to its own proportional share of culpability.
