     Authorizes school district to require a certificate of occupancy to demonstrate student eligibility for enrollment in the district.

An Act concerning eligibility for enrollment in a school district and supplementing chapter 38 of  Title 18A of the New Jersey Statutes.

 

     Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

     1.  A school district may require a certificate of occupancy from persons attempting to demonstrate a student's eligibility for enrollment in the school district.

 

     2.  This act shall take effect immediately.

 

 

STATEMENT

 

     This bill authorizes a school district to require a certificate of occupancy from persons attempting to demonstrate a student's eligibility for enrollment in the district.
