SYNOPSIS
Appropriates $1,000,000 for outreach and enrollment activities in Medicaid and NJ FamilyCare programs.

A Supplement to "An Act making appropriations for the support of the State Government and the several public purposes for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2014 and regulating the disbursement thereof," approved June 28, 2013 (P.L.2013, c.77).
Be It Enacted by the Senate and the General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. The following language provision is added to section 1 of P.L.2013, c.77, the annual appropriations act for State Fiscal Year 2014, on page 101:

Of the amount hereinabove appropriated for NJ FamilyCare - Affordable and Accessible Health Coverage Benefits, there is allocated $1,000,000 for an enhanced outreach and enrollment initiative for the Medicaid, NJ FamilyCare, and NJ FamilyCare Advantage programs authorized pursuant to section 26 of P.L.2008, c.38 (C.30:4J-18).
2. This act shall take effect immediately.
STATEMENT
This bill directs a State Fiscal Year 2014 budget allocation of $1 million from the State Grant-In-Aid appropriation for the NJ FamilyCare - Affordable and Accessible Health Coverage Benefits (NJ FamilyCare) line-item appropriation, for an enhanced outreach and enrollment initiative intended to increase the number of children, parents, and other eligible members of the public enrolled by the Medicaid, NJ FamilyCare, and NJ FamilyCare Advantage programs.
