HOUSE BILL 1291
AN ACT relative to sales by motor vehicle dealers.

This bill allows a vehicle dealer to sell vehicles after a dealer license has expired for the purpose of depleting inventory.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fourteen
AN ACT relative to sales by motor vehicle dealers.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Dealer License; Expiration; Inventory Depletion. Amend RSA 261:103-a, IV to read as follows:
IV. All licenses issued pursuant to the provisions of this section shall expire annually in the month designated by the director. The dealer may sell vehicles after the expiration of the license, provided that the dealer owned the vehicles on the date of expiration and is selling the vehicles for the purpose of depleting inventory.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2015.
