STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Two
AN ACT requiring public schools to teach labor history.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Section; Schools. Amend RSA 189 by inserting after section 11-d the following new section:
189:11-e United States and New Hampshire Labor History. Each public school in the state, as part of the school board-approved middle/high school education program, shall provide instruction as part of the standard history curriculum under RSA 189:11 on United States and New Hampshire labor history including notable strikes, unionization drives, and other labor actions.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
