A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT to restore funding to the division of aging and adult services of the department of health and human services for the project caregiver alternatives to running on empty program.
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Aging and Adult Services, the sum of five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) for the 2012‑2013 fiscal year to restore funding to the Project Caregiver Alternatives to Running on Empty Program (Project C.A.R.E.), which provides support to individuals with dementia and their caregivers.
SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2012.
