MISSISSIPPI LEGISLATURE

AN ACT TO DESIGNATE A CERTAIN SEGMENT OF U.S. HIGHWAY 51 IN GRENADA COUNTY AS THE "KEN LUNDBERG MEMORIAL HIGHWAY"; TO DESIGNATE A CERTAIN SEGMENT OF MISSISSIPPI HIGHWAY 161 IN COAHOMA COUNTY AS THE "AARON E. HENRY MEMORIAL HIGHWAY"; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  (1)  That segment of U.S. Highway 51 in Grenada County beginning at its intersection with Mississippi Highway 8 and extending to the southern corporate limits of the City of Grenada is designated and shall be known as the "Ken Lundberg Memorial Highway."

     (2)  The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching the segment of highway described in subsection (1) of this section.

     SECTION 2.  (1)  That segment of Mississippi Highway 161 in Coahoma County beginning at its intersection with the I-69 Bypass on the north near Lyon and extending southerly to its intersection with the I-69 Bypass on the south near Clarksdale is designated and shall be known as the "Aaron E. Henry Memorial Highway."

     (2)  The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching the segment of highway described in subsection (1) of this section.

     SECTION 3.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2010.
