AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 65-3-71.94, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO DESIGNATE A CERTAIN SEGMENT OF INTERSTATE 59 IN PEARL RIVER COUNTY AS THE "DEPUTY LEN J. ROWELL MEMORIAL HIGHWAY"; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  Section 65-3-71.94, Mississippi Code of 1972, is amended as follows:

     65-3-71.94.  (1)  The * * *overpass located at exit 35 on  southbound lane of Interstate 59 in Pearl River County near mile-marker 35 is designated and shall be known as the "Deputy Len J. Rowell Memorial * * *Bridge Highway."

     (2)  The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching the * * *overpass segment of the highway described in subsection (1).

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
