House Bill 1153

AN ACT TO EXEMPT ALL BAGS, BOXES OR OTHER CONTAINERS USED TO STORE OR HOLD ICE IN STAND-ALONE ICE VENDING MACHINES FROM INCLUDING ON ITS LABEL THE NAME, PLANT NUMBER AND LOCATION OF MANUFACTURER; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  All bags, boxes, or other containers that are used to store or hold ice in stand-alone ice vending machines are exempted from including the name, plant number and location of the manufacturer on its label.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2021.
