Summary
An Act To Amend Section 41-7-191, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Delete The Certificate Of Need Requirement For Licensed Psychiatric Services And To Provide Beginning On July 1, 2024, The Department Shall Not Require A Certificate Of Need For Any Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility, Psychiatric Hospital, End-stage Renal Disease (esrd) Facility, Intermediate Care Facility For The Mentally Retarded, Child/adolescent Psychiatric Beds Or Any Other Licensed Psychiatric Services Or Mental Health Services; And For Related Purposes.
