Summary

An Act To Amend Section 73-11-51, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That The Board Of Funeral Service Shall Promulgate Regulations That Establish Mandatory Continuing Education Requirements For Funeral Service And Funeral Directing Licensees; To Set The Continuing Education Hour Requirement For Such Licensees; To Require Providers Of Continuing Education Courses To Apply To The Board For Approval To Offer Courses For Credit Toward The Requirement In This Act; To Authorize The Board To Charge A Fee To Cover The Cost Of Monitoring Such Providers; And For Related Purposes.
