Summary

An Act To Amend Section 43-11-13, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Direct The State Board Of Health To Implement A Training Program For The Recertification Of Nurse Aides Who Have Not Worked As A Nurse Aide Performing Nurse-aide Services For Monetary Compensation In A Nursing Home Or Other Health Care Setting During The Previous 24 Months; To Prohibit The State Board Of Health From Requiring Certified Nurse Aides To Perform Nurse-aide Services In A Nursing Home Or Other Health Care Setting For Any Period Of Time During The Previous 24-month-certification Period In Order To Be Recertified; And For Related Purposes.
