An Act To Amend Section 71-3-7, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That A Claimant's Failure To Timely File Medical Records In Support Of A Controverted Workers' Compensation Claim May Result In Dismissal Of The Claim; To Amend Section 71-3-35, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Require The Employer Or Carrier In Certain Instances To Notify The Employee That His Right To Benefits May Be Barred By The Statute Of Limitations; To Amend Section 71-3-63, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Clarify The Limitation On Attorneys' Fees; To Amend Section 71-3-66, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Revise The Confidentiality Of Workers' Compensation Commission Records; To Amend Section 71-3-77, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Allow Notice To The Insured Of Cancellations And Nonrenewals To Be Served Electronically As Long As Receipt Is Acknowledged; And For Related Purposes.
