Summary
An Act To Amend Section 29-3-63 And 29-3-69, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That The Annual Rental For Sixteenth Section School Land Classified As Farm-residential Land Shall Not Be Increased To An Amount Exceeding 5% Of The Current Market Value Of Agricultural Land In The County In Which The Lease Is Located; To Amend Section 29-3-65, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That The Lessee Of Such Farm-residential Land Shall Have The Right To Hire His Own Appraiser, And That Any Disagreement As To Fair Market Rental Amount Shall Be Appealable To The Secretary Of State; And For Related Purposes.
