Summary

An Act Relating To Food Stamp Reform; To Prohibit The Mississippi Department Of Human Services From Applying Or Renewing Any Work Requirement Waiver Under The Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (snap); To Provide That Categorical Eligibility Shall Not Be Granted By The Department Of Human Services For Snap Benefits Unless Expressly Required By Federal Law; To Require The Department Of Human Services To Continue To Implement Income Thresholds And Asset Tests As A Condition For The Receipt Of Snap Benefits; And For Related Purposes.
