Summary

An Act To Define The Term "eyebrow Threading"; To Provide That Persons Practicing Eyebrow Threading For Compensation Are Required To Register With The State Department Of Health And Pay A Fee; To Provide That The Department Is Not Authorized To License Or Regulate The Practice Of Eyebrow Threading; To Direct The Department To Develop Brochures Containing Information About This Practice; To Authorize The Department To Conduct Inspections Of Premises To Determine Whether Self-testing For Infection Control Is Available On Eyebrow Threading Sites; To Clarify That This Provision Is Not Applicable To Licensed Cosmetologists Or Barbers; And For Related Purposes.
