Summary

An Act To Require Children Who Are Younger Than 18 To Take The American College Testing (act) Test Prior To Dropping Out Of School; To Provide That If The Child Cannot Attain A Certain Act Score They Shall Be Included In The Compulsory School Attendance Law Until They Reach 18; To Provide Penalties For The Parents Of Children Who Are Required To Attend School Until 18 That Miss A Certain Number Of Consecutive Days; To Amend Section 37-13-91, Mississippi Code Of 1972, In Conformity Thereto; And For Related Purposes.
