Summary

An Act To Amend Sections 37-20-1 Through 37-20-9, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Authorize And Direct The State Board Of Education To Adopt Rules Regarding Student College Readiness Evaluation And Remedial Education Opportunities; To Provide That Remedial Instruction Shall Be A Collaborative Effort Between Secondary And Postsecondary Educational Institutions; To Provide A Formula And Authorize Allocation Of Funds To Schools For Remedial Education; And For Related Purposes.
