Summary

An Act To Authorize The Clarksdale Public Utilities Commission To Be Abolished By A Majority Vote Of The Qualified Electors Voting At A Special Election Called By The Governing Authorities Of The City Of Clarksdale, Mississippi; To Provide That If A Majority Of The Qualified Electors Vote To Abolish The Commission, Such Commission Shall Be Abolished 30 Days After The Election Is Certified And The Governing Authorities Shall Assume Control And Operation Of The City's Utilities; And For Related Purposes.
