Summary
An Act To Amend Section 31-7-13, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That Reverse Auctions Shall Only Be Required By Individual State Public Schools And Districts When Those Individual State Public Schools And Districts Purchase Products That Are Sold Through Resellers; To Provide That When The Individual State Public School Or District Is Purchasing Products That Are Not Sold Through Resellers And Determines That Reverse Auction Is Not In The Best Interest Of The State, The Individual State Public School Or District Shall Submit A Detailed Explanation Of Why A Reverse Auction Would Not Be In The Best Interest Of The State And Present An Alternative Process To Be Approved By The Local School Board; And For Related Purposes.
