Summary

An Act To Amend Section 31-7-13, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Exempt Contracts For Renovation, Restoration Or Both Renovation And Restoration Projects Of Certain State- Or Locally-owned Facilities From Lowest And Best Bid Requirements; To Require That The Awarding Of Contracts For Those Projects Be Based On A Qualifications-based Selection Procedure In Accordance With The Provisions Of Section 31-7-13.2; To Bring Forward Sections 31-7-13.2 And 39-7-22, Mississippi Code Of 1972, For Purposes Of Possible Amendment; And For Related Purposes.
