Summary

An Act To Amend Section 41-42-5, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Direct The State Department Of Health To Provide For A Nurse Practitioner To Be Present At Each County Health Department For At Least One Day Each Week In Order To Provide Persons With Contraceptive Supplies And Prescriptions For Contraceptive Supplies; To Provide That The Recipient May Be Eligible For Those Supplies And Services At No Cost Or At A Reduced Cost On A Sliding Fee Scale Based On The Income Of The Recipient; To Amend Section 41-42-3, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Conform To The Preceding Provision; To Amend Section 41-42-7, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Authorize Nurse Practitioners To Provide Contraceptive Supplies And Information To Certain Minors; And For Related Purposes.
