An Act To Amend Section 27-65-111, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Exempt From Sales Taxation Sales Of Food Items To Charitable Organizations That Are Exempt From Federal Income Taxation Under Section 501(c)(3) Of The Internal Revenue Code, Operate As Part Of Or In Coordination With A Senior Nutrition Program And Use The Food Items To Cook Or Otherwise Prepare Meals That Are Delivered And Provided At No Charge To Persons Who Are In Need Due To Age, Disability, Or Other Health Related Matters, Or Other Reasons; And For Related Purposes.
