Summary

An Act To Amend Section 37-3-2, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Require The State Board Of Education To Waive The Minimum Scores Required On The Praxis Core Academic Skills For Educators Examination And The Praxis Ii Examination For Educators Applying For A Standard License, Nontraditional Teaching Route, At Any Time There Exists A Critical Shortage Of Teachers In The State; To Authorize The State Board Of Education To Establish Rules And Regulations For The Awarding Of A Special, Nonrenewable Teacher's License For Five Years To An Educator Who Does Not Qualify For A Standard License Or Expert Citizen Special License; And For Related Purposes.
