Summary

An Act To Amend Section 37-13-134, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Authorize The State Board Of Education, In Consultation With The Department Of Health, To Establish A Targeted Coordinated School Health Pilot Program For School Districts; To Provide That Such Pilot Programs Shall Contain Certain Components; To Provide That The State Department Of Education Must Provide Certain Regulations For Such Programs; To Create A New Code Section That Requires The State Department Of Education, Subject To Available Funding, To Establish A Targeted Coordinated School Health Grant Pilot Program; To Require Schools Districts That Are Seeking Funding For The Grants To Have Certain Components For Their Targeted Coordinated School Health Programs; And For Related Purposes.
