Summary

An Act To Amend Section 67-1-5, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Revise The Definition Of The Term "qualified Resort Area" Under The Local Option Alcoholic Beverage Control Law To Include Any Municipality With A Population Of Not More Than 250 According To The Most Recent Federal Decennial Census And Which Is Located In A County Traversed By Interstate 55 And Interstate 20 And A Judicial District That Has Not Voted To Come Out From Under The Dry Law; To Bring Forward Section 67-1-16, Mississippi Code Of 1972, Which Provides For The Holding Of An Election Before Certain Locations May Be Designated As A Qualified Resort Area, For The Purposes Of Possible Amendment; And For Related Purposes.
