Summary

An Act To Amend Section 43-13-117, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That Under The Medicaid Waiver For Home- And Community-based Services For Developmentally Disabled People, A Licensed Registered Nurse Who Is The Guardian Living In The Household Of A Child Of The Nurse Shall Be Eligible To Receive Reimbursement For Medically Necessary Services That The Nurse Provides To The Child, Provided That The Nurse Has Received Certification From The State Department Of Mental Health As Being Qualified By Education, Training And Experience To Provide Those Types Of Services To The Child; To Extend The Date Of The Repealer On That Section; And For Related Purposes.
