Summary
An Act To Amend Section 47-7-37, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Increase From Five Years To Ten Years The Period Of Probation That The Court May Provide For An Offender; To Amend Section 47-7-34, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That The Maximum Period Of Post-release Supervision That A Defendant May Be Placed Under By A Court For Failing To Report To His Or Her Probation And Police Officer Is Ten Years; To Bring Forward Section 47-7-47, Mississippi Code Of 1972, Which Relates To A Judge Placing An Offender On Earned Probation; To Bring Forward Section 63-11-30, Mississippi Code Of 1972, Which Relates To The Implied Consent Law, For Purposes Of Possible Amendment; And For Related Purposes.
