AN ACT

To amend chapter 215, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to the prevailing wage on low-income housing.




Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:


            Section A. Chapter 215, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 215.042, to read as follows:

            215.042. Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, for any housing eligible for a housing tax credit, the commission shall not require a prevailing hourly wage to be paid to any contractor for any work performed on such housing if such housing is located in an area declared to be a disaster area by the governor of the state.
