AN ACT

To amend chapter 537, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to liability for gratuitous services.




Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:


            Section A. Chapter 537, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 537.038, to read as follows:

            537.038. Any person who gratuitously and in good faith renders any service to another individual shall not be civilly or criminally liable for any acts or omissions in the rendering of such services other than damages occasioned by gross negligence or by willful or wanton acts or omissions by such person.
