AN ACT

To amend chapter 171, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to days off for school districts.




Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:


            Section A. Chapter 171, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 171.052, to read as follows:

            171.052. No school district shall schedule a day off or a half day off of school on any weekday five days preceding or five days following Veterans Day, as observed by the federal government, unless such school district has scheduled Veterans Day Observed as a day off of school.
