AN ACT

To repeal section 11.030, RSMo, and to enact in lieu thereof two new sections relating to school administrator salary information.




Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:


            Section A. Section 11.030, RSMo, is repealed and two new sections enacted in lieu thereof, to be known as sections 11.030 and 37.854, to read as follows:

            11.030. There shall be published in the manual the name, salary, and home or office address of every officer and employee of this state, and of every public school administrator, and it is unlawful for any officer of this state, or for any school district payroll officer, to pay or authorize the payment of a salary to any appointee [or] , employee, or school administrator until such person files with the secretary of state, for publication in the manual, the name, salary, and home or office address of the employee.

            37.854. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the office of administration shall maintain salary information for all public school administrators on the Missouri accountability portal established under section 37.850. The department of elementary and secondary education shall collect the name and corresponding salary of each administrator from each public school district and public charter school in the state and transmit such salary information to the office of administration as provided in section 37.850.
