AN ACT

To amend chapter 407, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to certain contract provisions.




Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:


            Section A. Chapter 407, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 407.292, to read as follows:

            407.292. Any company in this state that has a contract that contains an automatic renewal provision shall send notice to the person subject to such contract at least thirty-one days before such contract automatically renews. Such notice shall contain the date upon which the contract will renew and that such person has thirty-one days to terminate such contract prior to its automatic renewal.
