AN ACT

To amend chapter 191, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to procedures for vaccinations administered to certain children.




Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:


            Section A. Chapter 191, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 191.240, to read as follows:

            191.240. All licensed health care practitioners authorized to administer vaccinations shall provide the parent or legal guardian of a child less than seven years of age with a list of the ingredients contained in any vaccination prior to such vaccination being administered to a child less than seven years of age. The parent or legal guardian of a child less than seven years of age shall sign a paper or electronic document, developed and approved by the department of health and senior services, that acknowledges the receipt of the list of ingredients of any vaccination prior to such vaccination being administered to his or her child. Such document shall also include for the parent or legal guardian of such child information regarding how to obtain additional information about the ingredients used in the vaccination.
