AN ACT
To amend chapter 177, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to real property donated to school districts.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Chapter 177, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 177.310, to read as follows:
177.310. Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, the school board of a school district that has acquired any real property by donation may, after ten years from the date of the donation, sell the property as surplus, provided the school board first offers to return the property to the previous owner. Should the previous owner refuse the return of the property, the school board may then sell the property as surplus.
