AN ACT

To amend chapter 104, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to state employee health insurance benefits.




Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:


            Section A. Chapter 104, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 104.018, to read as follows:

            104.018. Any person employed as a new hire by the state of Missouri after January 1, 2012, shall not be eligible for any state-sponsored health insurance benefits upon his or her retirement from the state. State employees employed by the state prior to January 1, 2012, shall remain eligible for health insurance benefits upon retirement.
