AN ACT
To amend chapter 21, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to video and audio broadcasting of sessions of the general assembly.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Chapter 21, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 21.438, to read as follows:
21.438. Beginning with the ninety-eighth general assembly and every general assembly thereafter, the house of representatives and the senate shall provide live video and audio broadcasting of all legislative sessions of its respective chamber to the public. The rules of the house of representatives and the rules of the senate shall include the method and manner of such broadcasting, including, but not limited to, live video and audio streaming on the website of the respective chamber. Each chamber may either provide such broadcasting in-house or may contract for such services.
