SB 1510 - This act requires that beginning July 1, 2025, driver's licenses and nondriver's licenses issued to United States citizens shall have a distinguishing mark indicating citizenship. The Department of Revenue shall coordinate with the United States Department of State to establish criteria for establishing and verifying citizen status.

Licenses issued to applicants who meet exemptions to certain documentation requirements shall have a distinguishing mark and shall "be readable and referenced by scanning on the back of the license that specifies that the license holder is a citizen of the United States".

This act is identical to HCS/HB 1413 (2024).
