1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Addison Walz of Albertville, Minnesota, for earning the rank of Eagle
1.3Scout.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout rank is the highest rank earned in the Boy Scouts of America;
1.5and
1.6WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in Scouts BSA is an important achievement
1.7that is worthy of recognition; and
1.8WHEREAS, Addison Walz is a member of the Boy Scouts of America and has displayed
1.9the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.10WHEREAS, Addison has demonstrated mastery of all Scouting skills and has completed a
1.11community service project, which involved building and installing bat holders for the baseball
1.12fields for the City of Albertville, and fulfilled all other requirements necessary to attain the rank of
1.13Eagle Scout; and
1.14WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held; and
1.15WHEREAS, Addison will graduate from St. Michael-Albertville High School with the Class
1.16of 2022 and is planning to go to college to pursue a career in engineering; and
1.17NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.18congratulates Addison Walz of Albertville, Minnesota, for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.19BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.20copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.21Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Addison Walz.
