1.1A Senate resolution
1.2commending Scott Charlesworth-Seiler on being inducted into the
1.3National Teachers Hall of Fame.
1.4WHEREAS, a member of the teaching profession must believe in the ability of all students
1.5to learn; and
1.6WHEREAS, the mission of the National Teachers Hall of Fame is to recognize and honor
1.7exceptional career teachers, encourage excellence in teaching, and preserve the rich heritage of
1.8the teaching profession in the United States; and
1.9WHEREAS, the Hall of Fame celebrates the accomplishments of exceptional teachers,
1.10preserves their careers in museum and virtual formats, and utilizes their skills and experiences to
1.11elevate teacher quality and student learning through integrated programming; and
1.12WHEREAS, Scott is an exceptional teacher who teaches 5th and 6th grades at Fine Arts
1.13Interdisciplinary Resource School (FAIR) in Crystal; and
1.14WHEREAS, Scott will be inducted into the National Teachers Hall of Fame on May
1.158, 2012, in Washington D.C.; and
1.16NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that
1.17it congratulates Scott Charlesworth-Seiler on being inducted into the National Teachers Hall of
1.18Fame and commends him for many years of dedication and commitment.
1.19BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.20copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.21Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Scott Charlesworth-Seiler.
